I saw the next in the Twilight Saga, New Moon last night.

I think there is many anticpated fans out there that have beeing squealing since the trailers first hit our screens and I was right up there with you all in the jumping up and down. Afterall, we are all Twi-Hards alike.

Driving to the cinema I was all excited like I was when I first went to see such movies before in the past. I think the last movie I got really excited for, besides Twilight, was Independence Day and God, that is going back some years ago! hehe

As soon as I was in my seat and the magic spread across the screen, I was captivated and in awe.

I fell in love with Edward all over again and it felt great!

Robert was stunning once more as Edward; Billy burke brought the humour back and Jasper made me swoon to no end; but surprisingly, it was Taylor Lautner's performance as Jacob Black that blew me away the most.

Those who know me well, will know I am Team Edward; but Jacob really hit it for me in this movie. He hit all the notes on humour, great acting and the twisted feelings of desperation when Bella was leaving him to save Edward. I was really moved by him a lot in this movie and the character has grown on me incredibly.

Demetri was epic. Out of all the Volturi; he was my favourite and the whole scene with Aro was brilliant and very well written and acted. Although Demetri didn;t have alot to sy or do, ust a few lines and filler acting; he was beautifully crafted. His line: "Save some for me!" made my skin stand on end because of the way he delivered it! You knew he meant it!

From a writing and directing opinion, as much as I loved Twilight, Chris Weitz brought much more to this to make it feel "alive" than I felt Catherine Hardwicke did. The camera angles made me feel that I was swirling in Bella's pain with her as she fell to pieces on the forest floor. The small details like the once thriving meadow being dead and the props in Bella's room of her photographs appealed to me as a fan because they were all little details that were never mentioned in the book. The special effects with the wolves were inspiring too.

I througholy enjoyed this movie and wasn't in the slightest bit dissapointed, considering Edward wasn't around much - you didn't miss him, because the other chracters held you tightly inside of their grip so well.

I was never really a big fan of Kristin Stewart either. I felt her performance in Twilight wasn't up to much and that anyone could play Bella, really. But now that I've seen the deep dark and serious acting of Bella's depression that Kristin performed, I have to say I am very much liking her now and will watch more of her films.

Hope you guys enjoyed the film as much as I did! I will be seeing it again for sure!
